One-stop diagnosis and treatment for muscle, tendon, and joint pain
If you’re living with persistent pain and don’t know why, you’re not alone. Many people see multiple practitioners, receive conflicting opinions, and still don’t get clear answers.
That’s exactly why I created this one-stop musculoskeletal (MSK) assessment and diagnostic ultrasound service — so you can get the answers and treatment you need in one visit.
During a single, hour-long appointment, I’ll carry out a thorough clinical assessment, perform a real-time diagnostic ultrasound scan, give you a clear diagnosis, and — if appropriate — provide an ultrasound-guided injection or treatment plan there and then.
No waiting weeks for imaging.
No juggling multiple appointments.
Just clarity, reassurance, and a plan to get you moving again.

Why choose a one-stop MSK assessment and ultrasound clinic?
Traditional care can stretch over several weeks and multiple appointments with different clinicians. In that time, your symptoms may worsen and your confidence can fade.
By combining clinical expertise with diagnostic imaging and treatment, my one-stop service offers:
As one patient put it:
“Max is a highly trained, responsive, and caring practitioner. He’s helped me manage knee pain and arthritis for years, keeping me active and pain-free. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.”

Understanding diagnostic ultrasound imaging
Diagnostic ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive, radiation-free imaging technique that allows me to see what’s happening inside your muscles, tendons, and joints in real time.
Unlike X-rays or MRI scans, ultrasound shows structures as they move — I can watch tendons glide, muscles contract, and joints move dynamically. This makes it invaluable for pinpointing musculoskeletal problems such as tendon tears, inflammation, or joint impingement.
During your scan, I’ll apply a clear gel to the skin and move a small probe over the area. You may feel gentle pressure, but it’s not painful. I follow the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) guidelines to ensure the highest safety standards.
